Washington State Testing Requirements:
Street Law Driving School offers the Washington State Knowledge and Drivers Test which is required before you can obtain a Washington Driver’s License. The test covers traffic safety laws with the main study material coming from the Washington State Drivers Guide. http://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/guide.html

Before an applicant can test at Street Law Driving School, they must first sign our testing policy for knowledge and driving test. If the applicant is under 18 we must have a parent signature before the tests can be given.

The Knowledge exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. Applicants must pass the knowledge test with a score of least 80%.
The applicant must bring photo ID, permit or pre-application confirmation, along with payment.
$40 for graduates of Street law Driving School.
The driving test will test applicants’ ability to drive legally and safely. Applicants must pass the driving test with a score of 80 or better out of 100 possible points. For more information on what applicants will be evaluated on, please visit:
The drive test can only be taken after the knowledge test is completed. The drive test must be scheduled online http://streetlawdrivingschool1.fullslate.com/

Drive tests will always be done in the Street Law vehicle. This is used for the safety of the student and examiner, the vehicle has a passenger brake and can be controlled if a dangerous situation occurs. Only the student and the examiner will be in the car during the test.
There is a Drive Test Preparation lesson (30min) offered for an additional fee of $40) the applicant needs to have a valid permit to use this service. The test preparation lesson is highly recommended if you haven’t taken a traffic safety class from a certified school.
Scores for the knowledge and driving test will be reported to the Department of Licensing electronically within 24 hours.
Passing the knowledge and driving test does not guarantee that an applicant will be issued a driver license. The Department of Licensing will determine if an applicant has met all licensing requirements.
The Department of Licensing reserves the right to retest applicants who complete tests through Street Law Driving School. Retesting is done at random at no cost to the applicant
